Lee Oil Company, Inc. and it’s wholly owned subsidiary Lee’s Travel Center/Lee’s Food Mart, (collectively “Lee Oil Company”) are headquartered in Middlesboro, Kentucky.
Lee Oil Company started in August of 1988 by Gary and Terry Lee as a two person operation and has grown to currently 366 employees and operating 40 convenience stores and selling approximately 47 million gallons of product through a combination of both retail and wholesale operations.
Lee Oil Company is incorporated in the Commonwealth of Virginia and has been domesticated in both the State of Tennessee and the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Currently, operations are centered in the Southeastern portion of Kentucky, the Northeastern portion of Tennessee, and the Southwestern portion of Virginia.
Lee Oil Company operates as both a wholesaler and retailer while it’s subsidiary Lee’s Travel Centers/Lee’s Food Marts operate only retail locations selling directly to the public. The retail locations operated are branded by one of the major oil companies. Lee Oil has the ability to brand a store one of the following four different brands: BP, Marathon, ExxonMobil and Phillips 66.
Lee Oil Company focuses on the distribution of petroleum products to wholesale and retail customers. Currently, Lee Oil operates the 41 convenient stores mentioned above and sells products on a consignment basis through a number of other stores. Lee Oil also delivers product directly to the other retail locations, home heating oil, and other customers ranging from mining operations, trucking, industrial and school districts.
